What to do in LAMP!(Spring & Summer)

Hello!
I am A.K working at LAMP.
I moved to Lake Nojiri area (where LAMP is located in) because I was inspired by great outdoor field which change its feature seasonally.
Winter ended and spring of fresh green has just come.
There are still some snow left on the road and it is a bit chilly outside, but we sense small steps to summer.
Today, I will introduce you what you can do through spring to Summer here at LAMP!
1. Wild vegetable picking tour
In this tour, guides take you up to a nearby mountain where you pick some wild vegetables.
Sometimes, we walk into the woods where no one normally go in, which is quite exciting.
You bring back all the vegetables you pick to the base and sort them out by kinds.
Our chefs make some Ala Carte while you fry Tempura with the vegetables decorated on the plate.
Let’s fry Tempura!
Drinking with people in the same tour is so much fun!!

2.Kayaking, Canoeing and Stand-up-Paddleboarding
LAMP is located in front of Lake Nojiri and there are many water sports you can try there.
Our kayaking, canoeing and Stand-up-Paddleboarding tours are one of those.
Since our well-experienced instructors teach you carefully how to ride, even beginners can enjoy them.
We have rental boats for experienced people as well.
Kayaking
There are 2 types, Touring Kayak and River Kayak.
Touring Kayak is more for beginners and River kayak for someone seeking adventure.
Stand-up-paddleboarding
You get more chance to play with lake with this. We have a tour in the early morning randomly held on Sunday or long holiday.

3.Cycling
There are many cycling routes around LAMP, such as making a circle around Lake Nojiri, going up to the spots of Waterfall and Pastrol Scenery.
Around the Lake
The distance is about 15 km. It sounds a bit long, but it is actually suitable.
There some hills where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Lake on the route.
My suggestion is to go clockwise!
“Naena Waterfall”
It takes about 1 hour to get to the waterfall.
You can try Japanese noodle called “Soumen” in the restaurant there.

4.Finnish Outdoor Sauna “The Sauna”
“The Sauna” was just built February 2019.
This is located in the backyard of LAMP and not that far from Lake Nojiri.
You heat up your body in the sauna with “Loyly” which is to pour water on the hot stones and generate super hot moisture.
After your body gets heated up enough, you are ready to jump in the cold tub or run to the Lake.
Slowly adjusting the temperature of your body with air bath is one of options.
We only use firewood to generate the heat.
You can make “Loyly” on your own anytime you like.
Just do not throw too much water at the same time.
Air bathing feels so good that you need to watch out not to fall in sleep.
